Leg shaping is an operation of placing silicone gel-filled prosthesises to inner side of lower legs bellow knees in cases that they are less developed. It is done with 2-3 cm incisions behind knees. Thus, the inner side of the legs becomes more compatible with the outer side of the legs. Thickening legs is achieved by injecting fat tissue extracted from patients own body to inner legs.

The operation lasts 2-3 hours.
Side effects and risks:
Temporary numbness, cyanosis, pain and swelling can occur on legs. Infections, poor healing of the incision and minimal bleeding are some of the temporary risk factors.
Patients can come back to work in 5-7 days. Normal activities are recommended after 1 week and physical activities are recommended after 1 month.

The operation is performed under general anesthesia or local anesthesia with sedation in hospital.
The result is long lasting.
